The sookie stackhouse, southern vampire mystery series!

Hey everyone :)

How many of you have heard of the Sookie Stackhouse book series? True Blood is based on these novels. I only found out about them about 6 months ago and ever since I read the first one, I've ben overly hooked on all the novels. I've read all 11 of them, probably 6 times. I just can't get enough of them. The first ten of them are on there way to my house right now.  There is also an audio book for all of them so you can listen to them while doing anything. I have all the adio books! They are amazing, I personally like the audio books better because the narrator, Johanna Parker, is amazing at protraying all the voices and emotions and moods! Its almost like watching it all happen with your eyes closed!

There is also another book in this series called "A Touch of Dead" it is full of all the short stories that Charlaine Harris has written about Sookie Stackhouse!

This August there is another novella by Charlaine Harris being released on the 30, called "The Sookie Stackhouse Companion". I am personally most excited about this one, its going to be so interesting. Its not actually full of stories but more of a supernatural guide to life in Bon Temps. This book is full of iterensting things to do with Sookie, her family, enimies, and most importantly all about the creatures sookies been..personally involved with! ;)

Readers will:
• Tour Bon Temps via the detailed map in the book, the one created by Charlaine herself!
• Read transcripts of Eric and Bill's private conversations
• Examine all the branches of Sookie's family tree
• Learn the fine points of the distinctions between vampire, shifter, and fae

Baby Mikey Spoilers....

After sufing the internet, I found some legit baby mikey spoilers. It turns out that Mikey is EVIL! omg big shocker...it was pretty darn almost over foreshadowed in the 3rd season and in the last 4 episodes. And to top all that off with, guess what baby Mikey gets? A seriously bad case of pyrokinesis...uh oh! I hope arlene, her kids and terry are all going to be ok!

She's not there, episode 1

True blood is back baby!

In my opinion this episode was not that great and not at all what I expected. :( I was really disappointed. 

Well starting with Sookie the show begins with where Sookie was taken. Into Fea. In Fea she discovers some unsettling news about the fearies. After finding out about the fearies being, well bad. They're harvesting humans, whatever that means. Sookie manages to escape with her grand daddy. But unfortunately he dies. Anyways when Sookie returns to Bon Temps 12 and a half months later to find everything has changed.. 

Bill is still so attached but so unattached. What’s with that?? And he’s now the king? When did that happen?

Then Erik sweeps in to be all sexy and what not. Saying he always new she was alive. Apparently so, he bought her house. Claiming Sookie is 'His' now too.

Jason’s now a cop and still taking care of Hot Shot, but for all his good deeds he gets locked in a freezer? Bull shit. 


Unfortunately Sam's kind of pissed about Sookie being back. It’s a liitle rude. If my best friend was supposedly dead I'd be pretty happy to see him. He’s definitely more "prickly" as Sookie put it. Also thankfully Tommy's alright but him and Sam are having some serious conflicts. At least he’s having some 'anger management' with his shifter buddies.

Jesus and Lafayette went to the witch coven and some unsettling news about Lafayette’s old vampire fling Eddie who died is shown. Freaky....and raising a dead bird? Interesting.

Arlene and Terry find their new baby Mikey sitting in a puddle of decapitated Barbies. Creepy baby.

Tara now lives in New Orleans with her lesbian lover as a cage fighter? Anger management or what??? And is called Tony? And not wanting to see her best friend after a year of thinking she’s dead.

Andy on V. Kind of predicted it.

It’s quite apparent that Jessica and Hoyts honeymoon is over. They seem to be in a bit of a rough patch. Raw eggs. gross. lol at least they had a bit of a giggle about it. And Jessica’s "Eye f*cking fangbangers" as Pam put it might lead to some serious troubles between Hoyt and her.

Hopefully the vampires can impress their good will and loving personalities on the human race.

Personally I’m a little disappointed with the show. Everything’s so different. And like all the characters personalities have switched? Not liking that.

I love seeing Sookie and Jason close again. They need each other. Family is important. At least that’s a plus.

True Blood Is Back!

For all you Truebies out there, Sookie and all her supernatural shanagins are back! And to all you Newbies joining the True Blood Family, Welcome, This is definitely the year to start watching!


Well, it’s been a long ten months since the season 3 finally and if you are as hooked as I am then you have got to be excited!  Let’s start out by refreshing our memories with total recap.

Let us start with Bill. In Season three we got to see a lot of Bills true colours come to show. He tried to kill both Erik and Pam, Bill “claimed” it was for Sookie's sake because he didn’t want anyone who had tasted Sookie to be left alive so they could find out she is Fea and use her as they please. It turns out that Bill wanted both Erik and Pam to be gone so that he would never have to admit his deepest secret to Sookie. A secret so horrible it may have ruined their relationship forever. When Sookie kicked him out of her house he called the Queen of Louisiana, Sophie Ann LeClare, to his house ‘under false pretences’ in hopes of killing her.

Now Sookie has got a lot of unsolved problems going on with her. She’s terribly upset about Bill’s betrayal. She was crushed to find out that Bill was actually sent by the queen to procure her and seduce her if necessary to gain access to her unique ability and her potential heritage. She also has some, I’ll call them, misunderstood feeling and realizations about the flamboyant Viking vampire Erik. Due to her overwhelming emotions she accepts Claudine’s hand into the world of the Fea and disappears into the sky.

Erik and Pam, well Pam is still pretty much where she’s always been under Erik’s control doing whatever he says. Now Erik on the other hand had totally evolved since the first season. He is no longer cold stiff and heart-less, at least not all the time. He has some seriously confused feelings about Sookie and his relations ship. I wonder if he’ll do something drastic in season 4 to get her attention? We can only hope.

Next in line? Jason, Well what can I say about him.... throughout the series he’s definitely been having some serious attitude adjustments. He’s grown up a lot since we met him in season one, from having bondage sex with Maudette hanging from a meat hook to trying to become a cop? Definite upgrade. But now he may have ruined his chances at ever becoming a cop, by warning the were panthers about the DEA coming. He’s also been put in charge of them all after Felton takes Crystal away from Hot Shot. Will he keep his promise and take care of them or not?

Hmm....Sam. Shape shifting Sam. Not much to report about him except for telling Tara about his true nature. Relieving his big secret was hard on him and she didn’t take it so well. That’s about it on Sam. OH wait. He SHOT his own brother? Like what the hell. Poor Tommy’s had a hard life and he’s a little tough on the outside. Granted Tommy did steal Sam's money. Well let’s see what happens.

Now, Tara and Lafayette. Both are in very different places. Tara is messed up from her abduction and abuse from Franklin so she decides to skip town and leave Bon Temps for good without even saying good bye to anyone? Bad move girl. And Lafayette? Love interest and teacher, Jesus? Becoming a witch or not? Will see.

And lastly, my favourite couple. Hoyt and Jessica. Do I see wedding bells in their future? Hoyt is a doll and he is totally head over heels for Jessica. A new home, love, and......uh oh and angry mom with a gun? Well shit. DRAMA. Hopefully all is well with them.
